Easing to northwest 30 knots gusting 40 knots late evening. Sea becoming very rough for a time. Waves may rise rapidly during squalls. Poor visibility in heavy showers, turning to rain in the afternoon. Thunderstorms possible, squally from afternoon. Northeast swell 2 to 2.5 metres.

Friday: Northwest 30 knots, easing to 10 knots later. Fine. Northeast swell 2.5 metres, easing to 1 metre.
